Mystery of the Cambala Caves Part-III

Ishaan, Suchi and Nikki are in the HQ, and Ishaan says that the people in the cave are using cement and placing fake statues inside. Nikki asks why they should do that. Suchi says that they might be selling the real statues and replacing them with fake ones. Ishaan says they should visit Shrini once again. Nikki asks,"Par Rohit aur Farhan bahiya?" Ishaan:"Unhe raaste mein call kar denge." And they leave. Meanwhile, Rohit, Farhan and Dutta have been taken to Cambala Caves, to the archaeologist. Goga removes their gags. The archaeologist sees their faces and wonders aloud who the third boy, who stole the statue was. Rohit: (wondering) "Ishaan?" and this is a fatal mistake. Farhan says,"Rohit!" warningly, but it's too late....the archaeologist has heard the name already. Rohit looks ashamed. The archaeologist says,"Ishaan?" and Farhan tries to cover up, saying,"Nahi nahi, ye to kuchh bhi bolta hai." The archaeologist is not tricked, though, and he tells Farhan to call Ishaan. Farhan, having no other choice, takes out his cell and the archaeologist takes it from him. He searches and finds Ishaan's name & number in the Address Book. He dials the no. and then tells Rohit to talk to Ishaan. In Shrini's Office, Ishaan picks up the phone. Rohit:"Ishaan, hum pakde gaye." Ishaan:"Kya bol raha hai tu?" Then the archaeologist takes away the cell and tells Ishaan that his friends are STILL alive; if he wants them to stay that way, he must come to the Caves with the statue and the two girls; if he tries to tell anyone else.....at this point the archaeologist holds the phone close to Goga's gun and Goga fires it. The archaeologist tells Ishaan that he has only 19 minutes remining now and cuts the phone. Ishaan is really worried and seeing his expression, Shrini and the girls ask him what the matter is. Ishaan, not daring to tell in front of Shrini, says that Rohit had called.he wants to meet them urgently in the Caves. He almost pulls the girls away, Suchi says,"Par Shrini..." Ishaan tells her they are to go urgently and leaves, taking the girls with him.

Meanwhile, Dutta is taken away from Rohit and Farhan's eyes (i.e., behind a pillar) and there's a gunshot. Rohit cries,"Dutta Sir!" then Goga takes the two boys (gags back on and hands still tied) to a smaller cave and the archaeologist tells Goga to make preparations for their 'guests' (meaning Ishaan and the girls). Ishaan and the girls arrive at the Caves, riding at top speed. Suchi says they could have told Shrini but Ishaan says that the men have guns and they can't risk Rohit and Farhan's lives....it's upto them to save the boys. Goga was waiting for the three with his gun and he takes them to the cave where the two boys are (gagged and tied). As soon as the three see Rohit and Farhan, they rush to them. Suchi unties first Rohit's gag then Farhan's. Ishaan unties Rohit's hands and Nikki unties Farhan's. While they're doing this, the archaeologist takes out the statue from Ishaan's backpack and then he and Goga go out of the small cave and they put a stone over the entrance. Rohit, then Ishaan, then Farhan try to stop them but fail. They also fail to push the stone away after the two men have trapped them and gone away. Ishaan/Farhan takes out a torch, clearing the darkness a little. Ishaan asks Rohit what happened to Dutta. Rohit:"Dutta ko to wo log...(looks at Nikki)...koi aur jaga le gaye." (he was gonna say that "Dutta ko wo log maar diye", but he changed his sentence midway in case Nikki gets scared). Then we see Shrini at the Police Station, talking to D.L.K., trying to make him go to the Caves with him (Shrini cannot investigate...he doesn't have authority). D.L.K. refuses saying that Shrini shouldn't get taken in by what those children say....the five are probably in their houses. Shrini says he has checked at all their houses, but none of them are home. D.L.K. still refuses to go. Shrini:"To aap nahin chalenge?" D.L.K.:"Nahin." Shrini: (showing the phone on D.L.K.'s table) "Yeh phone chalta hai?" D.L.K.:"Haan." Shrini: (stretching his hand towards the phone) "To main S.P. Saab ko phone karta hoon." D.L.K. is scared and next we see him and Shrini going to the caves on D.L.K.'s bike.

Back to the five. Farhan is sitting on the floor of the cave, dejected, saying,"Hum yahan se kabhi nahi nikal payenge. Yeh to zinda kabr (grave) hai." Nikki looks really scared and Suchi scolds Farhan, telling him not to scare Nikki like that. Then Suchi feels the wind blowing. Suchi:"Guys, cave mein hawa chal rahi hai!" Rohit: (bad-tempered...with worry) "To isme kya hai? Hawa to roz chalti hai." Suchi:"Bandh cave mein hawa chal rahi hai...this means there is an opening somewhere! Let's find out where it is!" Nikki takes out a chocolate wrapper (the Dairy Milk Shrini gave her) and tosses it into the air; but it does no good since the wrapper is so small. Then Ishaan takes out some paper and lights it with some matches. Rohit:"Torches to humare paas hain." Ishaan: (stamping out the fire) "Torch nahin, dhuan. Hawa se bhi halka." They figure out the direction of the wind by looking at the direction in which the smoke is moving. They find an opening in the opposite end of the cave. Ishaan tries to widen the gap with all their might, but fail. Rohit tells Ishaan to move away and takes over the job himself. He must have succeede, coz then we see the CIA outside the cave.....they go to the area which Goga said was restricted (to Ishaan and Farhan on their field trip in the very beginnign). Meanwhile, Shrini is searching for the kids all around, the archeologist, Goga and D.L.K. with him. Then D.L.K., looking at something else, loses track and gets lost in the caves....the others move on. Then Shrini comes to the cave where the children were. He asks the archaeologist what is inside. The archaeologist (thinking the children are still there) says it's not a nice area, it's dangerous...it's kept empty. Shrini asks him to remove the stone, and let him check the cave. The archaeologist is hesitant, but cannot refuse because it'll raise suspicion. He tells the workers to remove the stone, standing behind Shrini, and keeps one hand on the gun in his pocket, ready to kill Shrini as soon as he sees the children. The workers remove the stone, and Shrini finds the cave empty and the archaeologist removes his hand from the gun. Shrini still looks suspicious, but doesn't take matters any further and leaves. The archaeologist is panicky, asking Goga where the children are. Goga has no idea, of course.

Then we see the CIA in the restricted. area. The five see the workers excavating hard and fast. Just then, a lizard falls on Suchi's shoulder. Farhan, sensing Suchi is about to scream, puts one hand over her mouth and flicks the lizard off with the other. Suchi calms down, but momentarily, for the lizard returns and squats down on Suchi's feet without Farhan noticing. Suchi gives a piercing shriek, but it does no damage, for her shriek is drowned by a shout from the workers.....one worker is shown holding up a blood-red stone. The lizard has left and the five gasp on seeing the stone...for it is a ruby!! There are more rubies, too. The workers say 'Boss' will be very pleased an the five wonder who 'Boss is. Then a worker comes from behind and, most unfortunately, catches the CIA. The other workers come running and there's a scuffle in whichthe five manage to escape. Nikki escapes first, other four still fighting. Then Suchi, Ishaan and Farhan leave one by one, each managing to escape unnoticed with the others fighting. Rohit, still holding up for the others, has a slight difficulty for there is no one to distract after him, but he too manages to escape (he IS the best sportsman in school, after all!).The five, while escaping from the workers, run into D.L.K. and in a hurry, they have to let D.L.K. tag along with them. The come to a large stone on the ground aftyer which there is a large clear space. Goga suddenly comes in the clear space, gun in hand. Ishaan, Farhan, Sucheta and Nikki, along with D.L.K., manage to get behind the stone before Goga can see them, but Rohit is not so lucky....he was not near enough to return to he stone without being spotted. Rohit quickly moves behind Goga and moves accordingly, keeping behind Goga all the time, so Goga can't see him. Goga turns around swiftly and Rohit ducks down into another small cave nearby. Then Goga leaves and the other four rush to Rohit....D.L.K., staring elsewhere again, gets left behind once again. The CIA five run out into another open space and they spot an opening leading outside. But there is a fairly large space between them and the opening. They are about to dash across, prepared to risk it, when suddenly a figure moves out from behind the shadows....it is DUTTA (I never really trusted this guy)!

Rohit:"Dutta Sir! Aap thik to hain? Chaliye yahaan se bhaagte hain isse pehle ki koi hume dekh le." Dutta:"Itni jaldi bhi kya hai?" and he takes out a gun. Ishaan:"Boss?" Dutta:"Haan, Boss." Then the archaeologist comes there with Goga. He points his gun at the five and says,"Khel khatam!" Then there's a gunshot and as the bullet connects, a scream from...................no, not one of the CIA, but the archaeologist! The bullet came from the gun of the police force that has arrived, led by SHRINI! There is a sudden pandemomium. Nikki throws Goga into a hole in the floor and Rohit hits him hard, again and again, with Nikki shouting,"Usse chhorn mat, bhaiya!" Suchi, Farhan and Ishaan pin the archaeologist and Dutta. The police come forward and arrest all three. Rohit gives one last, sharp blow to Dutta and they're taken away. Suchi asks Shrini how he knew they were in trouble. Shrini says first of all from Ishaan's face in the office. Then, when he searched in the small cave (where the five had been trapped), he found a Dairy Milk wrapper (holds it up).....the chocolate he gave Nikki in his office. So he became sure that the five were in the cave and so he left.....and came back with the police. Ishaan then shows Shrini the ruby (he put it in his pocket when they were fighting with the workers) and Shrini is very surprised, but also extremely pleased coz the CIA has solved another great case and he says,"Let's celebrate!!" They celebrate in Shrini's office with pizza (Rohit didn't worry about calories here!) and Shrini informs the five that Dutta found out after years of research that there were rubies in Cambala Caves. He bribed the archaeologist and Goga and used the old-statue cover to excavate for rubies. The gake gunshot was used to scare the CIA so they keep their mouths shut, but of course, the three didn't know that the CIA is unstoppable and so....the CIA has solved another very, very high-profile case (Rohit was really pleased at this) and D.L.K. will not be pleased at all!! Then, at the very end, we see poor D.L.K., still lost in Cambala Caves looking for everyone else ("Kahaan gaye sablog??") and he stumbles onto the restricted area. Then a spider falls on his shirt and D.L.K. gives a cry of "Mummy!!!" and bolts from there!

Mystery of the Cambala Caves Part-II

The CIA find a picture of the new statue found in Cambala Caves (the last episode ended with this) in the newspaper and notice that the nose of the statue is broken. Rohit says it is the same statue which he broke in Dutta's house. Ishaan says they need to visit Dutta's house once again and tells Rohit and Farhan to do the job (bad choice...they always quarrel). Ishaan, Suchi and Nikki decide to visit the office of Cambala Times....in other words, they decide to visit Shrini. Here's what the CIA did, in two parts:

ISHAAN, SUCHI, NIKKI

(AT CAMBALA TIMES OFFICE)

The three visit Shrini. Shrini was talking on the phone when the three knock on the door. Shrini gestures at them to come in with his hand. The three enter. Shrini keeps the phone and asks what he can do for the CIA. Ishaan tells him everything they know. Shrini:"Tum log keh rahe ho ke ye murti (showing the picture on the paper) Cambala Caves se milne ke do din pehle hi tumhare dost ne tor diya tha?" He is very puzzled. Ishaan asks Suchi if she has the nose. Suchi takes it out. Shrini is told that it's the nose Rohit broke. Suchi asks Shrini to get a life-size picture of the statue. Shrini gets it. Suchi places the nose on the pictue. Shrini:"It's a perfect fit! Yeh to yahi murti ka naak hai!" Ishaan:"Iska matlab sab ulta hai. Murtiyaan Caves se Dutta ke ghar nahin, balki Dutta ke ghar se Caves mein jaa rahi hain." He also says that they should meet the archaeologist in charge of the excavation and Shrini says,"Yes, of course! Exactly!" Ishaan:"Sir...." and gestures at the phone. Shrini:"Oh yes, of course!" and picks it up and dials. We see the archaeologist picking up the phone in Cambala Caves, with the huge, bald man standing next to him. The archaeologist agrees to the meeting. After keeping the phone, the huge man asks who it was. The archaeologist says it was from Cambala Times, two reporters are being sent to interview him. The huge man says he shouldn't have agreed to it. Archaeologist:"Goga (the huge man's name), main mana karta to logon ko shakh ho jaata. Main dus minute mein unhe bhaga doonga. Tum apna kaam karte rehna...woh andar nahin aayenge." Back in Cambala Times office, Shrini says that the appointment is set. The three thank him. Shrini:"Tum log case solve karte raho...main tum logon ke bare mein article likhta rahoonga. We work as a team,right?" The three agree and leave. But then Shrini calls Nikki back, and without the other two knowing, he gives her a Dairy Milk chocolate. Nikki is very happy and thanks him and then leaves.

(IN CAMBALA CAVES)

At the Cambala Caves, we see Suchi and Ishaan at the entrance with the archaeologist....Suchi is continuously asking different questions while Ishaan is clicking pictures all around. The archaeologist is trying his best to finish the interview, but Suchi is insistent. She asks questions and continues distracting the archaeologist while Ishaan slowly goes into the Caves, while clicking pictures, without the archaeologist noticing. Ishaan gets into the Caves, then tucks the camera into his shirt. He spots a workers' helmet lying unused, and he puts it on himself, so as to get a good cover. He goes inside where the excavations are being done and he sees that the workers are putting cement on the wall and using brown paint to match the colour of the cement with the wall. The worker nearest to Ishaan tells him not to laze and gives him a statue to hold, thinking he is also a worker. When the worker turns away, Ishaan puts the statue into his shirt. Then the archaeologist comes and scolds the worker (who gave Ishaan the statue) because the colour of the cement is not matching the wall (the archaeologist had finally shaken of Suchi, and when he asked Suchi where the cameraman is, she said he is in the car). He says that everything needs to be perfect since the people from the office will be coming the next day and if they find any fault, everything will be ruined. The archaeologist leaves and the worker goes to bring more paint and Ishaan moves away from there. He almost runs into the archaeologist, talking on his phone, telling someone to bring 'them' over (you'll find out who 'them' is a little later) and Ishaan walks past him, careful not to show his face. The archaeologist, thinking he is a worker, asks him where he is going and Ishaan replies (in a changed voice) that he is not well, so he is going outside for fresh air. The archaeologist allows him to go, but just as Ishaan is leaving, he calls him back, having spotted the lace of the camera round his neck. Ishaan turns, by mistake, and the archaeologist recognises him. He calls to the workers who come running and Ishaan uses the statue as a weapon to defend himself and make a way nd then he bolts for it, the workers chasing him. Ishaan runs down to the place where the girls are, calling to them to leave on their bikes as fast as possible. Suchi and Nikki obey him and wait for him at a distance in a turning and they are joined by Ishaan, who has shaken off the workers, having tripped one with by throwing his helmet at him. Ishaan tells them that inside the Caves, fake statues are being stuck with cement and now they can prove it (he shows them the statuehe brought). They decide to go to HQ, which will be a safe place for them to go.

ROHIT AND FARHAN

These two are standing outside Dutta's house, waiting for Dutta to come out. Farhan buys an ice-cream cone and asks Rohit if he'd like to have one. Rohit refuses, saying it's not good for his health (coz it adds calories, I guess, but how can anyone LIVE without ice-cream??). Farhan:"Yaar, ye Dutta apne ghar se bahar nahin nikalta hai kya?" Just then Dutta comes and and Rohit says to Farhan,"Kuch aur maanga hota!" and they turn their back on Dutta (who was in a car) so that Dutta can't see them. When Dutta leaves, Farhan tosses the half-eaten ice-cream aside (what a waste!) and the two quickly go to Dutta's house. They find the door leading into the balcony (the balcony around the house, bottom floor only, leading to the main door) open, but the main door is bolted. They are able to open the window, but it has grills and they are unable to get in. Then Farhan says he has an idea and gets a long, curved branch and a mirror. Farhan puts the branch in through the window (which is just next to the door) and holds the mirror, with his hand stretched in, to see where the stick is going. He manages to unbolt the door with the branch after sometime and they get in. Rohit pokes around in Dutta's bedroom, finding different Kumbhini statues copied from pictures in books. He tells Farhan (who was facing Rohit and also the door) that he thinks that Dutta must be planting the statues in Cambala Caves. Farhan tries to tell him something with expression and Rohit is unable to read him. Rohit:"Hua ky hai, bata na thik se." Then Dutta's voice says, from behind Rohit,"Woh keh raha hai ke peechhe dekho." Rohit turns and finds himself face to face with Dutta, who had returned for his cell. Farhan tries to hink of an excuse, but Rohit asks Dutta irectly about the fake statues, saying that they know that he is planting his statues in Cambala Caves. Dutta looks very puzzled, saying he has no idea about this and anyway, why should his statues be in Cambala Caves? Farhan asks him if he is selling his statues to anyone. Dutta says he was given an order for some Kumbhini statues by an antique dealer and he is making the statues for him. Rohit asks for the antique dealer's name and address. Then Goga enters, saying,"Naam aur pata lekar kya karoge. Apne aankhon se dekhlo, poora ka poora aadmi hi tumhare saamne khara hai." Goga tells Dutta that he was warned not to tell anyone and now not only will he be 'taken care of', but along with him the two boys will also 'go'. (Goga called the archaeologist and Rohit and Farhan are 'them' who have come to know about the secrets). Then we see Rohit, Farhan and Dutta, hands tied and mouths gagged, in the back seat of a black car with it's windows shut (it had the kind of windows in which you can see the outside from inside but not the inside from outside). Goga is pointing his gun at them from the seat beside the driver and leering at them. And then comes the horridest part in the full mystery: Rohit and Farhan see Ishaan, Suchi and Nikki on their bikes (returning from the Caves) but those three can't see them. The three even past just by the car one by one, but they don't know Rohit and Farhan are inside. Rohit and Farhan see their friends just passing from soooo close and they can't call out to them or let them know! The camera freezes on Rohit and Farhan's faces. (The expression in the eyes of Rohit and Farhan was soooo heartbreaking. They could just SEE help passing from so close, but they were totally helpless. If you can put yourself in their situation, you can understand WHAT A horrible, horrible thing it is!)

Mystery of the Cambala Caves Part-I

In the very beginning, we see two men (in clothes like the people working in caves) hammering a wall in a cave. Then one man spots something and points it out to the other man. Both become very happy and start laughing for some reason. Then there's the opening music after which we see Ishaan and Farhan sitting in their class with Cambala Times on their desk and the rest of the class is crowding around, reading an article on CIA (it was the news headline in the paper). Their classmates congratulate them for solving so many cases and one of them says,"Yaar, tum log to famous ho gaye ho." Farhan:"Haan...world famous in Cambala." Then we see Suchi walking in the corridor with other girls crowded around her. One of the girls asks if she can join CIA. Suchi is a bit taken aback. Back to Ishaan's class. The teacher enters and scolds them all for being clustered together. The students go back to their desk and murmur "Good Morning, Ma'am." The teacher spots the paper on Ishaan's desk and picks it up. She reads it, saying things like, "Hmm....wow....very good...." and Ishaan and Farhan are straightening their ties and stuff, looking rather pleased, thinking the teacher must be reading the article on them. The teacher finally holds up the paper in front of the class and says,"Everybody see......(Ishaan and Farhan try to look modest, but they are quite unsuccessful).......Cambala caves mein pracheen zamaane ki murtiyan mili hain!" Ishaan and Farhan are stumped and their smiles vanish. They look even less happy when the teacher says she will arrange a field trip to Cambala Caves so that they can see the statues. Then (at last!) we see Rohit on his bike, riding at full speed as usual. He passes some girls standing at a bus stop, who giggle when they see him. Rohit shows off, looking at them (boy, is he a flirt!), and then turns in front just in time to see a man in front of him. But he is unable to stop and crashes right into the man. The man falls on the ground and Rohit helps him up, saying "Sorry, Sir!" over and over. He helps the man up and the man is not at all pleased with Rohit. The man gets into a taxi and leaves.

Just then Rohit spots a book belonging to the man lying on the ground. He tries to stop the man, but fails. He puts the book in his backpack and follows the taxi on his bike. He follows it to the man's house.....the gate says 'Dutta House'. Rohit enters the house and knocks on the gate. Dutta (the man Rohit followed) opens the door and is not at all pleased to see ("Tum yahaan kya kar rahe ho?"). Rohit returns the book and asks Dutta for a glass of water. Dutta reluctantly allows Rohit to enter. The room is filled with different sculptures. Dutta goes inside to get the water and Rohit checks out the sculptures, tapping them and examining them. Dutta returns with the water and Rohit drinks it and thanks him. Rohit:"Sir, ye sab...." Dutta:"Yeh meri kala hai. Shilpkaar hoon main." Rohit:"Oh wow! That's great! Um...... waise ye shilpkar hota kya hai?" Dutta says the Hindi meaning and Rohit only looks more confused than before. Dutta in exasperation says,"Main ek....sculptor hoon." Rohit understands now. He thanks Dutta again and turns to leave and accidentally knocks over a statue which was on the floor next to him. Dutta is furious ("Dekho kya kiya tumne.") and Rohit apologises ("Sorry, Sir!") but no effect. Dutta picks up the statue and sees that the nose is missing. He tells Rohit that he has ruined the statue and asks him to get out. Rohit spots the nose on the floor and pushes it under the carpet without Dutta noticing. Then he leaves.

Next we see Farhan and Ishaan on the field trip with the rest of their class. Their teacher introduces them to the archaeologist whose team is excavating the caves. He takes them to the place where the statues are being excavated. He tells them a long and boring history about the statues: "Ye Kumbhakarna ke ... (some relation) Kumbhini ki murtiyaan hain. Cambala ka naam bhi Kunbhini ke naam se aaya hai.......(long blabbering).....that brings us to the history of cave man jab..." at this point Ishaan and Farhan get too bored and Ishaan nudges Farhan and they both drop to their knees (they were right at the back of the group) and crawl a little way away. Then they stand up and start exploring the other parts of the caves. They come to a place where Ishaan spots something on the ground and picks up some of it. Just then a huge, tall, bald man comes out of another part and comes towards them. He tells them to get out of there because it's a restricted area since the roof can fall in any moment. The two of them go away. Ishaan later shiws Farhan what he picked up from the ground...it's cement. Ishaan says that there must be something fishy in the caves because why else will cement be used during excavation of statues? Farhan says Ishaan is being too suspicious....the cement might be needed for some work they don't know about. Then we see the five at the HQ. Nikki is drawing Suchi and asks her to stay still. Suchi:"Nikki, tum phirse meri drawing bana rahi ho!?" Just then Rohit comes and snatches Suchi's paper from her. Suchi gets up and chases Rohit round the HQ ("Rohit! Paper wapas do!"), trying to get her paper back, but Rohit is too fast for her. Then Rohit sees the front page and stops suddenly. He looks at the picture of a statue printed on the front page. Then he says,"Guys....maine ye murti pehle dekha hai!" Farhan:"Good joke, Rohit." Rohit:"Arre, guys, I'm serious. Maine yeh murti ek shil...shilp....ek sculptor ke ghar dekha hai. Maine usse tor bhi diya tha." The others say Rohit must be mistaken. Rohit says he is gonna prove it...he'll get that statue from Dutta. Nikki:"Kaise, bhaiya?? Ek aur disguise mein?" Rohit:"Haan...main Shahrukh Khan banke jaoonga. Inother words...I'll be myself."

True to his word, Rohit visits Dutta. Dutta is shown sculpting a statue when there is a knock on the door. Dutta opens the door to find Rohit outside. Rohit gives Dutta a gift-wrapped object. Rohit:"Sir, uss din maine aapki woh murti tori thi, so I felt sorry. Isiliye main aapke liye yeh le aaya." Dutta: "Iski kya zaroorat thi!" but he takes the gift and opens it, to find some sort of exercising object inside. Dutta:"Yeh kya hai?" Rohit takes it from him and demonstrates its use, saying it is used for building strong wrists and arms which is very important for Dutta. Dutta thanks him. Rohit:"Sir, jo murti maine uss din tori thi...kya main woh phirse dekh sakta hoon?" Dutta: (suspiciously) "Kyun?" Rohit:"Sir wo murti...........bahut khoobsurat tha...very beautiful, Sir. Main school mein Art classes le raha hoon. Woh murti dekh kar...bahut inspiration milti hai." Dutta says Rohit doesn't look like an art-lover, but he lets him come in anyway. When Dutta goes inside to get the statue, Rohit quickly takes out the broken nose from under the carpet and pockets it. Dutta returns with various pieces...head, legs, arms, body....of a statue. Rohit:"Ye kya hai, Sir?" Dutta says that after Rohit knocked the statue over, it got some cracks in it and then broke completely. Rohit apologises again. Dutta then takes out a book and opens it, back towards Rohit, searching for the history of the statues to narrate it to Rohit. He also tells Rohit that statues similar to the ones he has made have been found in Cambala Caves. The ones in the Caves are originals, of course, and his statues are just copies. While he is saying all this, without looking at Rohit, Rohit quickly takes the broken head of the statue and puts it in his backpack. Back in CIA HQ, the five find out that the statue whose head Rohit got is not the same as the one Rohit broke, because the nose does not fit on the face. Rohit:"I knew it! Uss Dutta ne mujhe nakli statue dikhaya." Ishaan says that Dutta is acting extra smart and now he is convinced something fishy is going on, which is definitely a case for CIA. Ishaan says,"C-I-A......Back, in action." and the others shout,"YES!!" Then we see a view of the Cambala Caves and eerie, wicked laughter is heard. Inside the caves, the camers shows the huge, bald man (who forbade Farhan and Ishaan from entering an area on their field trip) holding a statue and saying,"Press ko khabar kar do.....Cambala Caves mein ek aur murti mili hai." His face has a wild sort of glee in it.

Mystery of the Missing Shoes Part-III

Rohit is very pleased that they are investigating such a huge case and Farhan says,"Tu hi to itna 'chhota' case investigate nahin karna chahta tha, Mr. High-Profile!" Rohit is irritated. Then the CIA decide to search Perfect Shoe Shop for the diamond. Meanwhile, we also see SF and Bld. They are calculating the shoes they have searched. There were 150 pairs of shoes brought, among which was the shoe with the diamond. They had stolen 80 pairs from Dheeraj's godown and 55 pairs from all over Cambala. That left 15 pairs which must be in Perfect Shoe Shop (short:PSS) because Dheeraj has only one retailer, Mayur Desai. The thieves too, decide to search PSS that night. Back to PSS. Rohit, Ishaan and Nikki are making a huge commotion about choosing shoes and all the people in the shop are attending to them. Farhan apologises for the commotion to Mayur Desai, who says it doesn't matter. Then Suchi comes in and says that the traffic police is towing Mayur Desai's car. Mayur Desai hurriedly leaves the shop and Rohit, Ishaan and Nikki continue their commotion. Farhan slips into the door leading to the loft with the other shoe-boxes, unnoticed in the chaos. Then Nikki says,"Uncle, iss joote mein darkish light, purplish, pinkish, lemonish green wala shade milega?" All the employees are stunned as they have never even heard of such a shade (of course not, coz Nikki made it up). Nikki says,"Mujhe to wahi shade chahiye tha," and they all leave. Meanwhile, Farhan is still hidden in the loft. We see all lights in PSS being switched off. The shutters are pulled down and the door is locked and everyone leaves. Farhan comes down and switshes onhis torch. He takes down all the black Regalo shoes and is about to search the first when he hears the door being opened.....by the two thieves, though Farhan doesn't know it. Farhan shoves the boxes under a bench and hides. The thieves enter. They see the boxes under the bench and Bld says,"Lagta hai yahan humare pehle bhi koi aaya tha." SF:"Aaya tha ya aaya hai??" and they search the shop. Farhan is in the loft and when the thieves search there, Farhan narrowly escapes and goes down, but SF sees him and follows. Farhan runs but Bld jumps down in front of him through the hole through which shoe boxes are thrown down. Farhan is caught and the thieves tie and gag him and take him to their den along with the shoes. Farhan is thrown onto a bed in the den and the thieves go upstairs to search the shoes. Meanwhile, Ishaan gets a call from Suchi, who is feeling worried in case something happens to Farhan. Suchi says Farhan is not picking up his cell. Ishaan and Suchi both frantically try to reach Farhan but.....no go. We also see Rohit pacing around a room, cell glued to his ear, trying to call Farhan. Farhan can feel his phone vibrating but cannot pick it up as his hands are tied. But he still twists and turns himself and finally manages to get his cell out of his pocket. He places it on a table with his mouth but just as he is about to pick the phone with his mouth (it was Suchi's call) the call gets listed as a missed call. But Suchi calls again and Farhan picks it up and just manages to tell that he has been caught when he hears the thieves coming downstairs.

Farhan drops his cell lightly on the ground so the thieves don't see it. The thieves had been going through the shoes but they hadn't found the diamond. However, they had found 14 pairs. One pair was missing and the diamond must be in that pair. The thieves suspected that Farhan had the last pair so they were coming down to question him. The thieves come down and question Farhan telling him that only one pair is left and ordering him to hand the pair over. Suchi hears all this on her cell. The thieves are about to torture Farhan (with a knife) when Farhan tells Bld that instead of suspecting him, he should suspect his partner (SF) who secretly made a call while tying him up.....Farhan says he can't recall the name of the man. All this is lies, of course, to make the thieves fight among themselves, and Bld falls into the trap. Bld says that if the boy (Farhan) is telling the truth, SF has gotten mixed up with ..... (forgot the name) and Farhan interrupts saying it was the same man SF called (lies, again. But Farhan is definitely smart). The two thieves fight and in the fight, Bld hits SF, who falls on the floor and mostunfortunately, spots Farhan's cell under the phone. SF picks it up and shows it to Bld. Then SF talks on the cell.

SF:"Kaun hai?" (on the phone...he didn't know who it was, of course)

Suchi is silent and also pretty scared.

SF:"Kaun hai? Bata warna tere dost ko...." (he punches Farhan, who cries out in pain)

Suchi: (very scared and worried) "Main...main uski dost bol rahi hoon."

SF:"Achchha....to tu un panch pandavon mein se ek aur hai. Tu bol joota kahaan hai warna..." (he punches Farhan again and Farhan cries out again.....poor thing)

Suchi:"Please don't hurt him. Woh joota.....humare paas hai."

SF: (to Bld) "Dekha, joota inke paas hai." (to Suchi) "Agar apne dost ki salamati chahta hai to kal subah nau baje joote lekar Turner's Bridge pe aa jana. Police ko khabar karne ki koshish bhi mat karna."

SF keeps the phone and Suchi is really, really frightened. She had, of course lied about the shoes to save Farhan. Meanwhile, Farhan is extremely miserable, wondering why Suchi lied and dreading to think of 9 o' clock the next morning. Next day, the rest of the CIA are in the HQ, extremely worried about Farhan. Suchi is sitting on the stairs, very pale, and Nikki is sitting beside her, sobbing. Suchi tells the others that she heard the thieves talking on the cell. They said that only one pair was left and therefore, that pair must be having the diamond. Rohit: (hitting his fist on a pillar in frusturation) "Great! Ab hum do ghante mein ye ek jodi joota kahaan se layein?" The four puzzle over it and Nikki suddenly says that she knows where the shoe with the diamond is! She says it must be in Farhan's old shoes which were stolen by the man at the bus stop. Ishaan says they checked those shoes. Nikki reminds them that they checked only the left one...the other had still been with the man. That shoe must be the one with the diamond. Rohit:"Par woh aadmi to bhaag gaya." Ishaan:"Ek joota pehen kar kitna door bhagega? Wahi kahin phek diya hoga doosra joota." The four rush to those woods where Nikki and Farhan chased the man. Nikki shows the place where they were when Farhan grabbed the shoe.

The four split up and start looking for the shoe all around. Nikki finds the shoe under some bushes and calls out to the others ("Bhaiya, joota mil gaya!"). When the other three come running to the place, however, they see the two thieves there, holding Nikki and Farhan, the man holding Nikki with a gun. SF:"Kya team hai...kya dosti hai! Tum log ye soch rahe ho na, ke hum yahaan kya kar rahe hain? Iss ladke ne (Farhan) hume bataya ke tum logon ke paas joota nahin hain. Woh tum logon ne isse bachaane ke liye bola tha. Phir tumhe bachaane ke liye soch kar bola ke joota yahi kahin hona chahiye. Aur yahaan pe hume tum sab mil gaye. Wah...kya dosti hai!" Nikki suddenly punches Bld who was holding her (a karate punch straight in the stomach....Bld was distracted for just a second). Bld drops the gun and Nikki/Farhan (one of them) throws the shoe to Ishaan. When the thieves come running towards Ishaan, (SF had no weapon) he throws it to Farhan then Farhan to Rohit, Rohit to Suchi and so on. The thieves end up being in the middle of a circle formed by the five, who are throwing the shoe to each other so that the thieves don't get it. Then Rohit throws the shoe, intending to give it to Farhan, but he throws it too high and it gets stuck on the branch of a tree. All 7 of them (CIA+2 thieves) are staring at the shoe on the branch when SF suddenly takes out a small Swiss knife and holds it at Suchi's neck (Suchi was just in front of him) before anyone realizes what is happening. SF:"Joota kisne pheka? Tune (to Rohit)? Ja, ped (tree) par char. Jaa, warna main isse (Suchi) maar dalunga." Rohit removes his shoes and climbs the tree quickly, lest anything should happen to Suchi. But he doesn't lose his head...he keeps his cool and pretends that he is unable to reach the shoe with his hand ("Mere haath nahin aa raha hai."). SF signals to Bld, who hands Rohit a stick. Rohit takes the stick and scrabbles around with it, 'trying to reach the shoe', but 'accidentally' covering it with more leaves, so that it can't be seen from the people below (he did it on purpose, actually). One of the thieves:"Ab to joota dikh bhi nahin raha hai." Rohit:"Mujhe dikh raha hai." and he moves the stick 'towards the shoe'. Farhan looked worried (he didn't have much confidence on Rohit's brains) but Ishaan gave him an assuring nudge, which clearly meant that Rohit would definitely find some way of saving the situation. Then Rohit spots a beehive on the tree and says,"Joota mil gaya, ye lo joota." Then, with a wink and grin at Ishaan and Farhan, he pushes the beehive with all his might so that it flies far from the tree. The thieves chase it, mistaking it for the shoe (as was Rohit's intention), and they run right under the falling beehive, which breaks all over them and the two thieves rool on the ground and stamp around, howling, attacked by a swarm of very angry bees. Rohit laughs and jumps down from the tree beside Suchi.

The CIA take the thieves and also the shoe to the police station. Ishaan takes out the shoe and, placing it on the table, tells the inspector (not D.L.K. but an inspoector more senior than him) everything. DL.K. was standing next to the table and the inspector asks him for his opinion. D.L.K. says that hiding a diamond inside a shoe is quite impossible....the children must be spoofing. Ishaan takes out his pocketknife and cuts the sole of the shoe......and TAKES OUT THE NOOR-E-JAHAN DIAMOND. It was inside the shoe, after all and D.L.K. is stunned to see it. The inspector congratulates the five and the five leave the police station happily. Then there's a mysterious part: We see the windscreen of a car and the mirror that hangs above it. The person in the car was watching CIA. We didn't see the person at all, but dangling from the mirror was a tattoo....a scorpio tattoo which is the same as on Dawar in Mystery of the Breaking Glass. I wonder who the guy was?!

Mystery of the Missing Shoes Part-II

In the beginning we see the man (from the bus stop) looking very frightened. Nikki tells him to give the shoes. The man suddenly tries to run and trips because Farhan had tied his shoelaces together. Nikki:"You know uncle, old tricks always work!" The man sits down on a stone. Nikki and Farhan tell him to surrender. He still acts stubborn, while untying his shoelaces (without Nikki and Farhan noticing). Suddenly he picks up some dust and throws it into Farhan's eyes and runs away, Farhan makes a grab at him but only manages to snatch one shoe. Both are disappointed. Meanwhile, Ishaan, Suchi and Rohit reach Perfect Shoe Shop and Ishaan fits a tracking device on Mayur Desai's car. He puts the screen (which shows where the tracking device is) on his bike and the three wait. When Mayur Desai comes out, they give him a headstart and then follow him. They track him to a godown and go inside. Before entering, they see Mayur Desai's car and Ishaan takes out the tracking device and puts it back into his pocket. They go inside and see Mayur Desai talking to his wholeseller who sells him the shoes. They hide behind some boxes but can't hear the two men from there. Ishaan sits down and opens his backpack and Suchi watches him. Meanwhile Rohit slips out from behind them without them noticing. Ishaan takes out a gadget but he tells Suchi that it can't be used because it's battery is down. Then Ishaan suddenly notices that Rohit is missing ("Oye, Rohit kahaan gaya??") and both are worried when they see a box walking past them. Actually Rohit was inside the box....he had put the box on himself (it's bottom was open) and he had cut a small 'window' in it so he can breathe and also hear the men. Suchi and Ishaan are alarmed at the thought of Rohit getting caught and they whisper to him frantically to stop but Rohit doesn't listen. He goes close to the men and then positions him properly and we see a box sitting down near the men, mixed with the other boxes around (Ishaan:"Marwayega Yeh!"). Rohit hears Mayur Desai telling him that customer after customer is coming to him with their black Regalo shoes and all of them have the same complaint.....there is a problem in the sole. Mayur Desai even shows the other man a shoe which has a problem in the sole. The two men then go out for some reason and Ishaan and Suchi come Running. Ishaan picks up the shoe on the table and puts it in his backpack and Suchi rattles the box with Rohit in it...HARD. Rohit comes out ("Arrey, main nikalta hoon!") and the three of them leave.
Next day the five meet in HQ and examine the shoe. Suchi says someone has been cutting the sole. Ishaan cuts it open and they see another proof of the shoe being cut....the gum used to sealthe sole is loose. Nikki suggests it might have been done by a cobbler, but Suchi says that a cobbler's work cannot be so uneven. She says it was cut by someone else......someone searching for something in the sole. Someone said that the object must be very small if it is hidden in the sole. They puzzle over it, but cannot think of anything. Then at school, Ishaan and Farhan are talking again.....in science class, probably Bio. They are hiding their faces with books, so that the teacher doesn't see.
Ishaan:"Ek idea hai."
Farhan:"Kya?"
Ishaan:"Machhli ko pakadne ke liye kaanta phekna padega."
Farhan:(confused)"Machhli...kaanta.....yaani kaante wali machhli??"
Ishaan signals at Farhan's new black Regalo shoes.
Farhan: (horrified) "Yeh joote! Yeh joote main nahin dene wala! Agar yeh bhi chori ho gaye toh??"
Teacher: (turning around) "Last warning, boys!!" (this was to Ishaan and Farhan)
Next, in the HQ, Farhan is not at all ready to give up his shoes. Ishaan assures him that even if the shoes get stolen, they will find it. Farhan reluctantly hands over the shoes. Ishaan cuts open one of the soles and puts a tracking device in the sole. Nikki asks him to open the other shoe too. Ishaan says only one tracking device is needed. Nikki says that if there is something in the shoe, it could be there in the other shoe, too. Ishaan checks the other.....there is nothing inside. Then Farhan also give him one of his old shoes. The one he snatched from the man at the bus stop. There is nothing inside that, either. We also see the real thieves. The man who had stolen Farhan's first shoe had nothing to do with them. He was an ordinary thief. Among the two thieves, one is sour-faced and the other, holding a crazy ball, is bald. They show flashback of a theft the two had committed. We come to know that the two thieves had stolen the Noor-e-Jahan diamond from a museum and were runningfrom the police when they ran into a godown containing different shoes for different wholesellers. The sour-faced thief hid the diamond in the sole of a black shoe (Regalo company) which was one of the 300 shoes (150 pairs) for Dheeraj wholeseller in Cambala (the man whom Mayur Desai met). The thief hid the diamond...the bald one was in anoher corner of the godown.....and the two ran away. So they were looking inside all the shoes for the diamond in Cambala, because the next time they went to the godown, the shoes had been sent away already. The sour-faced thief (short:SF) blames the bald thief (short: Bld) for this because it was his crazy ball that set off the alarm in the museum. Bld also blames SF saying that he might be double-crossing him....telling him stories about diamond in shoe while keeping the diamond with him, in reality. SF says that he has not taken leave of his senses, why on earth should he do something like that? Bld says SF might at least have seen the size of the shoe....then they wouldn't have needed to steal shoes of children as well as adults. We return to the CIA. Farhan leaves his shoes outside Moti Masjid and goes in. The other four are waiting outside, their bikes nearby; D.L.K. is there too, unfortunately, watching for the shoe thief. We see Bld coming. He opens his shoes outside Moti Masjid and quickly puts on Farhan's shoes and leaves. The four are ready to follow him, but D.L.K. spoils everything by tactlessly running after Bld and asking him to surrender. Bld pushes D.L.K. away and gets into a car and drives off. The CIA (four of them) follow the car.....the tracking screen on Ishaan's bike.....and D.L.K. also follows on his motorbike. D.L.K. is soon at the head because he is on a MOTORbike, and the others on bike. Among the four, Rohit is far ahead of the other three. Bld goes round a turning, then before the others come, moves to the side into a cart track. D.L.K. comes round the corner and goes straight ahead, and the case is same with Rohit. But Ishaan manages to stop the other two. His tracking screen tells him that the car has taken the side track. Ishaan tells Nikki to wait there for Rohit. Just then Farhan calls Suchi. Suchi tells Farhan their location and tells him that he'll find Nikki on the road. Then Ishaan and Suchi go inside.
Ishaan and Suchi move according to the tracking device but then they come to one spot where they can see themselves and the tracking device at the same point on the screen, but with their eyes, they can't see anyone around. Then Ishaan looks up and sees Bld on a tree. Bld jumps down and points his gun at them. He sees the tracking screen in Ishaan's hand and realizes that the shoes have a tracking device in them. He throws away the shoes and is about to shoot when Rohit comes there on his bike and knocks down the man (I shudder to think what might have happened if the man had shot at Rohit!). The man falls on the ground, dropping his gun, which Ishaan picks up. Ishaan points the gun at Bld and Bld suddenly seems to have a heart attack. Ishaan and Rohit bend down towards Bld, alarmed (very careless of them), and Bld suddenly jumps up and snatches the gun and points it at them...three now. Then a pebble, shot using a catapult, hits his hand and he drops the gun AGAIN and Ishaan picks it up AGAIN. Farhan (he shot the catapult) and Nikki come running and Bld is puzzled. Bld:"Tum log kitne ho?" Ishaan:"Hum paanch the aur paanch rahenge." Ishaan asks him to tell them everything, when D.L.K. ruins everything again, coming in suddenly on his motorbike, almost crashing into the CIA and causing Ishaan to drop the gun. Bld picks up the gun and pointing it at them, runs away. D.L.K. had gone straight on, unable to control his motorbike. The five go to their bikes and find D.L.K. on the ground, his bike beside him. Suchi, disgusted, says,"Thank you, apne poora plan bigaar diya." D.L.K. recovers himself on seeing them and says that they shouldn't meddle because it is a case for the police. The five mount their bikes, disgusted at D.L.K. and Suchi suddenly gets off her bike and picks something up from the bushes. The others ask her what it is. Suchi:"Jo woh chor chhor gaya. Crazy ball." Back in HQ, Suchi surfs the net and shows the others an article saying that when Noor-e-Jahan diamond was stolen, the alarm in the museum was set off by a red crazy ball belonging to one of the thieves (the crazy ball they have is red too....the same one). The CIA realize that the object in search of which the soles of black Regalo shoes are being cut must be the Noor-e-Jahan diamond. The episode ends with Suchi saying,"It's a big case guys. A big, big case!"

Mystery of the Missing Shoes Part-I

In the beginning, we see a small boy getting kidnapped on a bridge. Then, after the opening music, we check out the CIA HQ. Rohit is lying on a couch and a fly is buzzing round him. He picks up a flyswatter and chases the fly round the HQ. He firsts bangs into Suchi and then dodges around Ishaan and then almost crashes into Farhan, who was entering just then. Rohit says,"Yeh aa gaya sabse bada makkhi!" and makes a posture as if swatting Farhan with the flyswatter. Then he notices Farhan's shoes. Farhan was wearing a revolting pair of FLUORESCENT ORANGE SANDALS!! Rohit teases him about it and Suchi and Ishaan giggle at the sandals. Farhan says that when he went to Moti Masjid, he left the shoes outside and couldn't find them on returning. So he borrowed a pair from someone (don't remember the name). Rohit laughs at him and Farhan opens one of the sandals and throws it at Rohit. Rohit ducks and it hits the wall behind him. Then we see Nikki on motorbike behind D.L.K. and D.L.K. tells her that he is on an important case.....someone's son (forgot name again, sorry!) has been kidnapped from Turner's Bridge. But, he is not going to tell this to them or else they will meddle in the matter again (now he realises...after telling)! Next thing we see is the C.I.A. 5 on Turner's Bridge, looking for clues. Ishaan finds bit of the ball-bearings from the wheels and Rohit takes a picture of the place. Farhan fids a trail of banana wafers, probably from the tiffin box of the kid and they follow it into the forests. Just then the boy comes running from the woods and falls in Ishaan's arms. They are all surprised and take him to the police station where the kid says that after he fainted (the kidnappers used chloroform) he doesn't know what happened, but when he awoke, he was in the forest and the kidnappers had not harmed him at all.....they had only stolen his shoes (Black Regalo shoes....same as the pair Farhan lost, except size). D.L.K.:"Ajee..." Farhan interrupts, unintentionally: "Ajeeb kidnappers hain. Churayein to sirf joota!" D.L.K. tries to speak again, only to be interrupted, unintentionally, by each of the C.I.A. members, in turn. D.L.K. is furious. Anyway, they return to HQ. Next we see black Regalo shoes being stolen from all over Cambala. The thief cannot be seen. Ishaan and Farhan, sitting next to each other in class, get extra homework for talking in class. Farhan also went to Perfect Shoe Store to buy new shoes and the man sitting next to him (another customer) had also lost black Regalo shoes. Then we see C.I.A. in their HQ. Rohit suspects the Perfect Shoe Store shopkeeper, Mayur Desai. He says that Mayur Desai must be stealing his own shoes back to increase busines. Suchi says that they can't watch him in his shop all the time. Ishaan takes out another gadget from his backpack. it consists of a small device like an iPod with three or four wires coming out of it. He explains to others that he can enter a phone number in the device (he enters his own cell no.) and when the wires are connected to a landline phone, all incoming and out going calls from that phone can be heard on the number entered (in this case, Ishaan's cell). Rohit asks if he can have one of the gadgets to connect to the class teacher's phone ("To phir surprise test surprise nahin rahega!"). Ishaan says he can have one if he does something first. (BTW, Rohit was not at all pleased that the CIA is investigating such a small case like joota-chori. he said,"CIA jooton ka chori jaisa chhota case investiate karega??" But he did his best for the case, anyway.)
Next we see Rohit (in ANOTHER disguise) at Perfect Shoe Shop ("Ram Khilawan Yadav, Cambala Nigam se. Complain aayi thi ke phone kaam nahi kar rahi hai...?"). The shopkeeper he had lodged no complaints, but allows Rohit to check the phone. Rohit picks up the phone, and with the other hand pulls out the wires from the phone (without the shopkeepr seeing). Rohit says that it's not working (his accent was just brilliant!) and the shopkeeper checks the phone himself....then allows Rohit to fix the phone. He comments that Rohit seems to young to work, and Rohit tells him some stories ("Ka kahte hain saab. Humri umar twenty-two ho gaya....gaon mein do bachhe hain.....majaak karte hain saab..."). Rohit takes out the gadget as soon as the shopkeeper moves away for a little while and starts to connect it as Ishaan had instructed. The shopkeeper suddenly returns and asks Rohit what he is connecting. Rohit says it's a new gadget the company has given for trials. Mayur Desai forbids him from putting any gadget on the phone. Rohit:"Thik hai...aap kahte hain to nahi lagayenge....waise lagaatein to bill aadha aata....par aap nahin chahte hain to nikaal lete hain." He starts taking out the gadget, but Mayur Desai, happy at the thought of getting half the bill, tells him he can put the gadget. Rohit connects it to the phone. Then back in HQ, the five are waiting for a phone call to come, crowding around Ishaan's cell. There's no phone. Farhan says Rohit probably connected the wires all wrong. Rohit is furious. Just then a call comes on Myur Desai's phone and they can all hear it. However, it's from Mayur Desai's brother and the two chat and chat and chat about the village and stuuf, their lives etc. etc. for 45 minutes! They must have talked longer, but all 5 got thoroughly bored and Rohit cut the call in frusturation (from Ishaan's cell). Then Farhan leaves to do the assignments the teacher set them for talking in class. Nikki goes with him as she has some work, too. But Farhan's bike has a puncture so he needs to go by bus. Nikki and Farhan go to the bus stop. Meanwhile, another call comes to Ishaan's cell, forwarded from Perfect Shoe Store. Mayur Desai tells the person on phone that they need to talk about the black Regalo shoes and fix up a meeting in a godown. The three, Ishaan, Rohit and Suchi, leave for Perfect Shoe Shop (to follow Mayur Desai) on their bikes.
At the bus stop, Farhan and Nikki are waiting for the bus. Farhan sees a pair of muddy black Regalo shoes on the feet of the man next to him. He bends down and checks the lace of the right one. Man:"Oye, kya kar rahe ho?" Farhan:"Yeh mere joote hain!" Man:"Tujhe kaise pata?" Farhan:"Mere dahina joota ka lace toota hua tha. Aur jis Masjid se woh chori hui thi uske bahar aisi mitti thi!" Man:"Aise bahut joote ho sakte hain!" Farhan:"Achchha?? Thik hai. Maine joote ke sole mein apna naam likha hai. Agar naam nahin hui to joote tere warna mera joota mujhe mujhe wapas chahiye!" He makes a grab at the shoes but the man pushes all others around and runs off. Farhan follows him. Nikki takes a shortcut on her bike. Farhan follows the man to the end of the forest. There the man comes face to face with Nikki who does some karate moves (without hurting the man). The man stops, frightened. Farhan closes in from behind. The man looks tensed and the camera freezes on his face.

Mystery of the Invisible Thief Part-III

The episode begins with D.L.K. investigating the theft shown at the end of last episode. The woman, Mrs. Shastri, who has been robbed, is explaining that she had gone away for a short while and since the house had been locked from top to bottom, it was impossible for anyone to enter. She also tells that the last people to enter the house were some people from Acme Glass Factory who had come to fix a window pane. D.L.K. sees the foot- and hand-prints and says it is the same thief who has robbed the other two houses (how 'intelligent' of him!) and assures Mrs. Shastri he will soon catch the thief (yeah, you keep assuring....you'll never solve it!). Meanwhile, C.I.A. hears of the new robbery and the details. They decide to split up. Farhan bikes to Sudhakar's house, Ishaan pays a visit to Gopi and Rohit goes to Gol Chakki....in a disguise again!! Rohit puts on a police uniform and he acts like a kid....those kids who dress up and parade around. In the episode we saw little of Ishaan, then Rohit then Farhan, again Rohit....like that, I'm writing it separately to make it simpler:

ROHIT

Rohit dresses up and bikes to Gol Chakki. He rattles the gates there and the security guard comes running. He tells Rohit to buzz off coz the Factory is closed that day. Rohit says that his mother, Mrs. Shastri (not in reality), has sent him coz the peoplewho went from the factory put a glass in the window but the window pane broke (he was so sweet and so perfectly kiddish you'd feel like giving him a hug! Best thing about his disguise is that he can change his voice very easily). He asks the guard if he went to his house. Guard is angry and tells Rohit that he is not a delivery boy but a security guard...can't he see the uniform? Rohit requests the guard to give him a way to contact the mechanic who went to his house. He requests so kiddishly an nicely that the guard finally gives way and opens the gate. Rohit goes to his cabin with him where the guard browses through the notebook, coughing. Rohit sympathetically asks the guard about his cough and the guard tells him he's had it since two days. Rohit realizes that the guard can't be the thief because the first theft took place four days ago, and the cough WAS heard then. The guard gives Rohit the number telling him the mechanic's name is Jaggu. Rohit thanks him (soo cutely) and goes away. (I don't remember exactly when this happened, but the dog licked Rohit too and the guard told the dog if he makes friends with everyone, how will he guard the place? Rohit also agreed saying that the guard is very right. Rohit was so perfectly kiddish! especially his voice!)

ISHAAN

Ishaan meets Gopi and asked shows him one of the gloves. He says he had left the other in the house earlier and asks whether Gopi has seen them. Gopi says he saw a couple of gloves like that in the garage and put them on the waste paper bin with other rubbish in the garage. Ishaan asks where the rubbish came from. Gopi says around Bantoo's birthday, the carpenter had been fixing some things in he house and he left all the rubbish there. Ishaan also finds out that the carpenter is the same as in Suchi's house.

FARHAN

Farhan bikes to Sudhakar's house and rings the bell. When Sudhakar opens the door he gives him an address (Ishaan's) and asks him if he is on the right path. Sudhakar says he has come a long way in totally opposite path and he'll have to bike a long way to go to the place. Farhan pretends to be alarmed at the thought of biking such a long way and asks Sudhakar if he can call his friend from Sudhakar's place; Sudhakar is reluctant at first but Farhan says that his friend will leave if he doesn't reach on time so he'll have to warn his friend...he requests very hard and Sudhakar gives way. Farhan enters and Sudhakar shows him the phone. Farhan picks up the receiver, with Sudhakar breathing down his neck. Farhan suddenly sniffs the air and tells Sudhakar that he can smell something burning...is the smell from Sudhakar's kitchen? Sudhakar rushes off to his kitchen and Farhan rushes to the shoe supboard by the door. Farhan spots a pair of large boots there and checks the pattern. It's the same as the thief's. Just then Sudhakar returns and hoists Farhan up by his collar and accuses him of theft ("Toh tu hai joota chor! Jab tune phone ka bahana kiya tab hi main samajh gaya tha."). Farhan says his father owns a shoe company and he was just curious about whether Sudhakar's shoes are of the same company....he meant no harm. Sudhakar releases Farhan. Farhan says,"Sir, apne kahan ke apke joote chori huye hain...?" Sudhakar tells Farhan that he went to prison for three months because he had a small accident with a motorist. The motorist was on the wrong side, and he was unharmed after the accident, yet Sudhakar was sent to prison. He came to Cambala after his spell in prison and started supplying machinery parts and stuff, but then his shoes got stolen during the week when the carpenter was fixing a door. Farhan thanks Sudhakar for telling him all that and leaves.

SUCHI & NIKKI

Suchi and Nikki are fixing up the warehouse to convert make in habitable (hang-out-able, actually) and when they put Suchi's computer on the table, their hands get smeared with dust from the table. Suchi and Nikki clear the full place and install the computer, but when Suchi sits down on the chair, she nearly falls down because the chair has a broken leg. Suchi:"Yeh Farhan ka warehouse bhi na....ekdum kabarkhana hai." She calls her mom ("Mom, ek urgent kaam hai.") and the carpenter arrives at the place. Suchi asks him to fix the chair leg. While fixing it, the carpenter conversationally asks them what they're doing in the warehouse. Nikki says,"Hum yahan mysteries solve karte hain!" before Suchi can stop her but the carpenter laughs at Nikki and doesn't believe her, thinking she is only being babyish. He takes out his drilling machine and on seeing it, Suchi immediately remembers the print in her garden that looked like a gun. The drilling machine fitted the print! The carpenter finishes the work and Suchi tells him to take the money from her house. Then the carpenter gets a call. It's Rohit, though the Suchi & Nikki don't know it. Rohit asks him if it is Jaggu, the mechanic and the carpenter says, mechanic kahiye, carpenter kahiye, ek hi baat hai. Then Rohit says something else (forgot what) and keeps the phone. The carpenter turns to leave but then he suddenly coughs and Suchi calls out,"Guptaji!" instinctively. Before she can think of some excuse for calling him, however, Ishaan comes there and tells Suchi that the carpenter did all the thieving....the gloves belonged to him and he had been at all the places where the thefts had take place. Suchi and Nikki look stunned (he hadn't noticed the carpenter) and Ishaan looks around, but doesn't recognise the carpenter. The carpenter was standing still, too. Ishaan asks Suchi what the matter is and Suchi suddenly finds her tongue and cries,"Ishaan, wahi to Guptaji hain, pakro unhe."

The carpenter runs for it, and Ishaan chases him. Outside, the carpenter meets Farhan and pushes him away and runs to his bike nearby. Ishaan comes running out and he and Farhan try to chase the carpenter on bike, but the carpenter escapes on his black motorbike. Just then Rohit calls Farhan on his cell. Rohit tells him about the info he got and that he suspects the carpenter coz the mechanic said he is also a carpenter. Farhan asks Rohit where he is. Rohit says he is on some bridge (forgot name). Farhan tells Ishaan:"Yeh raasta bhi ... bridge pe jaata hai. Ab Rohit hi usey pakar sakta hai." Ishaan takes the cell and asks Rohit if he can arrange a rope. Then we see the carpenter on his motorbike on the bridge and Rohit hiding in the bushes. As the carpenter comes near, Rohit trips him up, motorbike and all, with a rope (he was holding one end and the other end was tied to the other side of the bridge). The carpenter falls down and rolls down to the ground below. Rohit follows him there and has a small scuffle with him when Farhan and Ishaan arrive. Rohit calls out to Farhan and they all take him to C.I.A. HQ and tie him up. Then they all ask him to confess. The carpenter admits the thefts and tells them how he did them. He had stolen the shoes from Sudhakar while working on the door. He had decided to use them for thefts and thought that the blame would be pinned on Sudhakar. When he was working at Bantoo's house, he had earlier noticed the pipe from the ground to the balcony of the room above. He had climbed up the pipe, closed the door from inside and robbed the place. When he heard Bantoo's mom coming, he hid under the bed, so Bantoo's mom had seen the doors closed from inside. When Banto's mom was inspecting the cupboard, he sneaked out of the door. At Suchi's house, he left his work for a while to do the theft. He had recorded the sound of his work (lakri thokne ki awaaz) and left the tape recorder by the window so that everyone thinks that he is working. He got in by unscrewing the grill and screwed it back on, hanging on the pipe, before returning to his work. He had to come back, however, for he had dropped his drilling machine in the garden....he grabbed it from the ground below and left (that's when Farhan & Ishaan chased him). At Mrs. Shastri's house, he never left after fitting the glass but hid in a cupboard (he heard Mrs. Shstri saying she'd be going away for a short while). When the house was empty and locked up, he got out and robbed the house then got out in the same way as Suchi's house (unscrewing grill).

The five take him to the police station where the Inspector (not D.L.K.) congratulates them and asks how it happened. Farhan says it's Ishaan's credit coz he began it all. Ishaan:"Par tere bina (Farhan) main Gol Chakki tak pahuch nahi pata." Rohit:"Hey, par chor ko kisne pakra? Maine!" (you know, Rohit may boast a lot, but in his case, even that makes you like him!). Farhan:"Par Suchi tujhe bulati nahi to tu aata kahaan se?" Rohit:"Oh, yeah, thanks Suchi!" Ishaan says that most important clue came from Nikki who showed them that the thief does not HAVE to be a large-footed person. Inspector:"Very good, team work!" Just then D.L.K. comes running and says,"Sir mujhe pata chal gaya hai ke chor kaun hai....Acme Glass Factory ka security guard!" Everyone laughs and the Inspector tells him that the mytery has already been solved by the kids. D.L.K. is not at all pleased ("Ye bacche kaise...") and Suchi replies that they are not just any kids, but the C.I.A. Other four:"C.I.A.??" Suchi:"Yeah, Cambala Investigation Agency!"

Mystery of the Invisible Thief Part-II

Ishaan rounds the corner and sees Farhan and Rohit (he was the one Farhan crashed with) lying on the ground, their bikes beside them. Both get up and brush themselves.
Farhan: Idiot, dekh ke nahin chal sakta?
Rohit: Galat side pe main tha ke tu? Mera speed record bas torne hi wala tha aur tune sab garbar kar diya!
Farhan: Tera record torte torte mera elbow (he said the hindi for that) toot gaya.
Ishaan: Drop it. Rohit tune kisi aadmi ko yahan se jaate huye dekha hai...black bike par, black dress mein?
Rohit: Haan dekha hai....par main nahi batane wala.
Farhan: (angrily) Bata! Humlog usse follow kar rahe hain.
Rohit: (with a big smile) Ab toh main bilkul nahin bataaonga. Tujhse toh koi bhi bhaag jayega! Now I gotta break my record. (takes out a stopwatch and mounts his bike) On your mark, get set, goooo!! (cycles away)
Ishaan and Farhan look around for the trail. It's not there. Farhan:"Ab kya karein?" Ishaan:"Let's rewind...Sucheta Duggar ke ghar." The two go to Sucheta's house and find D.L.K. inside, questioning Suchi's mom! D.L.K. is outraged. D.L.K:"Tumlog yahan kya kar rahe ho??" Farhan:"Ek minute, hum aap se milne nahin aaye hain, hum apne dost se milne aaye hai. Ab iske against bhi koi section hai kya?" D.L.K. splutters, Farhan turns to Suchi's mom. Farhan:"Aunty, Suchi kahaan hai?" Aunty:"Upar apne room mein." Farhan:"Hum mil sakte hain?" Aunty:"Haan. (Gives directions. Forgot what they were) Chori ke baad se apne kamre se nahin nikli. Bahut dari hui hogi bechaari." Next we see Suchi's room.....she is anything BUT 'dari hui'. She is at her computer. She types 'Invisible Thief' on the Google search bar and clicks search. The results are displayed....she clicks the top result. A page is opened. She reads it, twirling a pen in her hand. There is a knock at the door. Suchi:"Come in." Ishaan and Farhan enter.
Farhan: Hi, Suchi.
Suchi: (looks up from the comp) Oh, hi!
Farhan: Suchi, ye hai Ishaan. Mere hi class mein hai.
Suchi: Hi.
Ishaan: Hi.
Farhan: (looking at the comp) Waise tumhe dekh kar lagta nahin hai ke tumhare ghar mein abhi fesh fresh chori hui hai.
Suchi: Ghabrane ka time kahaan hai, guys? I have to find out who it is. Main internet mein Invisible Thief ke case files dekh rahi thi. Kuch to ho jisse main use trace kar sakoon.
Ishaan: Tumhe ye kyun lagta hai ke chor invisible hai?
Suchi: Tumhe bhi lagega, jab tum sunoge ke kya hua.
Suchi describes the theft. [Flashback] Suchi is downstairs on the sofa, reading, while her mother is watering the plants inside the house. The carpenter is working in the lawn and the driver is washing the car. Suddenly, there is a noise upstairs. Suchi's mother comes runnning. Suchi:"Mom, upar koi hai?" Mom:"Nahin." There's another noise and a cough. Suchi's mom:"Upar koi hai!" The two go upstairs. They go upstairs into the bedroom from which the sounds were coming. They see jewellery boxes open and lying on the bed, empty. The cupboard is open and the drowers are pulled out, also empty. Suchi's mum:"Meri jewellery, paise!" Suchi:"Mom...ye sab..." both are astonished as there is only one door in the room and all windows have grills. Suchi runs to the window and calls to the carpenter:"Guptaji, apne kisi ko aate-jaate dekha?" Carpenter:"Nahin memsaab. Maine toh kisi ko nahin dekha." Inside the room, Suchi's mum is weakly kneeling on the floor by the bed with shock. Suchi comforts her. [Flashback ends]
Ishaan asks Suchi if she can show them the room where the theft took place. Suchi takes them to the room. Ishaan sits on the floor to measure the footprints. Suchi:"Ye chor ke footprints nahin hain. Ye to uss policewale ke hain." Ishaan:"Oh." Ishaan and Farhan giggle. Ishaan measures the thief's footprints. They are the same side as the previous ones. There is also the print of a big hand on a curtain. Suchi:"Wow, tum log kya ye case solve kar rahe ho?" Ishaan:"Just trying to. Let's see." Farhan:"I don't see anything. Iss room mein ek hi darwaza hai jahan se Suchi aur uski mom andar aaye. Inhone kuch nahin dekha. Saare khirkion mein grills hain. Chor aaya kidhar se hoga?" Ishaan:"Aur gaya kahan se? Ab to mujhe bhi lag raha hai ke yeh chor sach mein invisible hai." Then Farhan remembers the black-bike guy. They go to the lawn to investigate. Suchi finds two berries and feels them. Suchi:"Look at this, guys. Yeh berries uss aadmi ke jooton ke neeche kuchle gaye. Yeh wala dry hai (feels one) aur yeh wala wet (feels the other). (to the boys) Samjhe?" The boys look blank. Suchi:"Ufff. Iska matlab yeh hua ke dry wala ek ghante pehle kuchla gaya, jab chori hui thi. Isiliye sookh gaya. Aur jo wet hai, woh berry abhi abhi kuchla gaya hai." Farhan:"Iska matlab chor wapas aaya tha. Good one, Suchi." Suchi:"Par woh wapas aaya kisliya hoga?" Ishaan:"Shayad kuch bhool gaya hoga." The three search different parts of the grounds. Ishaan finds a mark on the wet ground under some bushes. He calls the others. Suchi:"Gun ka mark?" Ishaan:"Ho sakta hai. Kuch aur bhi ho sakta hai." Ishaan makes a drawing of the mark. They go to Suchi's room. Suchi opens a page with pictures of all kinds of guns. Suchi:"No match. Ye gun nahi, kuch aur hoga." Farhan:"Tumhe kya saare solutions internet se hi milti hai?" Suchi:"Solution to nahi, par madat zaroor milti hai." The three are stuck. They can't think of anything else. Suchi:"You know what, I think we should write it all up." Just then Suchi's mom enters and says they have to leave. She's gonna get the carpenter (also mechanic) to fit double locks on the doors, coz they can't take any more risks. Suchi tries to protest, but her mom doesn't listen. Farhan:"Mere paas ek jagah hai, jahaan na koi hume disturb karega, aur na hum kisi ko."
They bike to a place (the same place that becomes C.I.A. HQ later on) and Ishaan and Suchi are really impressed with the place. Farhan:"Ye mere dad ka warehouse hai. Ab bandh haai, to maine ise apne parne-likhne ka hangout bana liya hai." Suchi spots a board and starts writing on it. Suchi:"Ok, clues kya hai?" Ishaan & Farhan:"Bara size ke shoes, bare haath, khasi, Gol Chakki se koi connection, gun jaisa koi hathiaar, black bike." Suchi:"Great, koi suspects?" Ishaan & Farhan:"Gol Chakki ka security guard, Minu Aunty ka naukar Gopi (Minu aunty is Bantoo's mom), tumhara driver aur carpenter." Suchi:"Carpenter nahi ho sakta, lawn se continuously uske lakri thokne ki awaaz aa rahi thi. Aur driver...I don't think wo aisa karega...bahut purana hai...(Farhan & Ishaan look at each other).....Ok, likh deti hoon.....koi witnesses?" Ishaan:"Haan...woh Rohit. Usne black bikewale ko dekha hai." Suchi:"Rohit....woh school racing champ? Kya dekha usne?" Ishaan:"Pata nahin. (with a smile at Farhan) Farhan se thora gussa tha, isliye bataya nahin." Suchi:"You know what guys...mujhe lagta hai hum iss case ko separately follow karein to aur jaldi progress kar sakte hain. Tum (Farhan) security guard se milna, aur Ishaan, tum Gopi se milna. Main Rohit se milti hoon." Ishaan:"Youknow, mujhe nahin lagta hai ke Gopi se milke koi fayda hoga. Ek to uski height paanch feet se zyada nahin hai, aur uske pair ka size to mushkil se chhai (6) hoga." Just then there is a noise nearby and the three jump. They hear someone in heavy boots walking around. We see someone in huge black boots. The three follow the sound here and there and suddenly Suchi spots some boxes moving. Farhan picks up a piece of wood and gets ready to attack Ishaan suddenly pushes away the boxes and Farhan is about to hit out when they see that it's Nikki! Ishaan:"You!" Nikki:"Fooled you, fooled you fooled you!" Ishaan:"Guys, meet Nikki, my kid sister, big baby." Nikki:" (indignantly) Who's a baby?!" Ishaan:"Tum yahan kya kar rahi ho?" Nikki:"Maine kahan hai na, mujhe bhi mysteries solve karna hai." Suchi:"You? But you're so young!" Nikki:"Tum Suchi ho na? Main tumhe roz school mein dekhti hoon. Mujhe to lagta hai next year tum hi head-girl banogi. Main to tumhare liye hi vote karungi"...Suchi and Farhan look at each other..."mujhe bhi mysteries solve karna hai...please!!" Ishaan looks at Nikki's boots...they're size twelve. He looks at the sole and says,"Ye nahi hain. Tumhe ye kahan se milein?" Nikki:"Perfect Shoe Store ke kharab stock mein pare hue the...to maine uth liye." Suchi:"Main Perfect Shoe Store jaati hoon. Everyone else knows what to do?" Nikki:"Except me." Suchi gives a helplesless smile and points at Ishaan. Next we see the four on their jobs. Farhan at Acme Glass Factory, Suchi at the shoe store and Ishaan outside Bantoo's house...and Nikki is with him.
Suchi enters the shoe store. The shopkeeper is counting his money. Suchi:"Excuse me, sir"....no reply...."excuse me, sir"...no reply, Suchi almost shouts:"EXCUSE ME, SIR!!" Shopkeeper: (irritated) "Kya hai?" Suchi:"Sir, main bas ye janna chahti hoon ke kya aapke dukaan mein lately koi customer aaya tha jisne bara size ke joote kharide?" Shopkeeper: (extremely irritated) "Tumhe joota kharidna hai?" Suchi:"Nahin, main to bas..." Shopkeeper:"To phir jao yahan se, time waste mat karo." Farhan is also on his job in Gol Chakki. He climbs over the gates and then goes to the guard's office. He gives some food to the dog chained outside. There's no one inside. He checks the checking in and out book but it yields nothing. He spots a small pad next to the book and opens it. The papers of this pad and the thief's pad don't match. Farhan opens a boot cupboard behind the table and opens it....he spots a pair of huge boots inside. He is about to check them when the guard returns and hauls him up by his collar. Guard:"Tu phir yahan kyun aaya?" Farhan:"Wo main cricket ball dhoond raha tha to mujhe laga ke aapko mila ho to aapke cabin mein ho sakta hai. Wo mera lucky ball hai na sir. Jab bhi usse khelta tha century maar deta tha. Ab do din se nahi hai to zero pe out ho raha hoon. Isiliye desperste ho kar aapke cabin mein..." Guard: (furious)"Mere paas nahi hai...hota to de deta na! Ab dubara idhar dikhe to kutta..." he stops abruptly and the camera shows the dog licking Farhan's hand! Ishaan anmd Nikki are also outside Bantoo's house. Ishaan:"Iss Gopi se milke koi fayda nahin hai. Uske pair ka size to mushkil se chhai (6) hoga." Nikki:"Bhaiya, mere pair ka size bhi to chhai hi hai na." Ishaan looks thoughful. Just then Gopi comes out and the two hide. Gopi keeps a plastic packet on the dustbin and goes into the house. Ishaan and Nikki come out and Ishaan opens the packet. He says:"Nikki, agar tum hume bara size ke joote pehen kar fool kar sakti ho, to chor kyun nahi?" Nikki:"Par woh bare bare haath?" Ishaan takes out a pair of gloves from the packet and says:"Bare size ke gloves. Chor bhi hume fool kar raha tha. Chor koi chota size ka aadmi hai." Next we see Rohit and Suchi in the school cafeteria. Recording of the conversation is given below:

Next we see Rohit in Perfect Shoe Store in the get-up of an extremely old man (honestly, if I hadn't known it beforehand, I wouldn't have recognised him!) clad in dhoti-kurta and coughing a lot. He goes in and check out the shoes, coughing loudly all the time. The shopkeeper gets disturbed and looks up. Shopkeeper: "O uncle, kya hua, kya chahiye aapko?" Rohit: (moving closer and imitating a weak old man to perfection) "Beta, mere size ka koi joota hai kya? Bara size ka joota?" Shopkeeper: "Bara size ka toh stock nahi hai abhi." Rohit: "Mujhe pata tha. Mere jaise bare pair aur kisi ka hoga Cambala mein?" Shopkeeper: "Bara size ke pair to Cambala mein sirf do logon ke hain. Ek to woh Acme Glass Factory ka Security Guard aur doosra Lal Pahari mein ?? number (forgot the number) ghar mein rehne wala aadmi." Rohit: (in normal voice) "Achcha??!" (shopkeeper looks suspicious...Rohit realizes his mistakes and changes to old-man-voice) "Achchaaa??" (very dragging and feebly) Shopkeeper: "Ab sirf do customer ke liye kitna stock rahega uncle? Aap ek kaam karo, ek mahina baad aao, main aapke liye alag se ek jodi joota rakh doonga." Rohit: "Achcha beta, main chalta hoon." (coughs...and false moustache comes off in his hand! Shopkeeper is shocked and Rohit, realizing wat has happened, runs away). Back in HQ, the four...leaving Rohit...are discussing the case. Ishaan suspects Gopi coz of the gloves and Farhan suspects the security guard coz when he went to meet the guard, he was coughing. Just then Rohit comes there and asks who lives in Lal Pahari in house no. ?? (the no. the shopkeeper said). Farhan is urious to see Rohit ("Tu yahan kya kar raha hai?") and Rohit glares at him (coz of Farhan's tone I guess...he sounded outraged). Suchi:"Farhan, chill, maine usey yahan bulaya hai. Say Rohit." Rohit repeats his question, mentioning what the shopkeeper said, directing the question at Farhan this time. Farhan thinks about it and replies that the house belongs to Sudhakar, machinery supplier. He was supposed to have been in jail for three months nd no one knows anything much about him. Ishaan sums up, saying that Dilawar Singh (the guard), Sudhakar or Gopi must be the thief. They have to watch all three. Then we see the thief (face hidden, only hands and feet were shown) robbing another house and leaving his handprint on a door. The episode ends as we hear a scream.

Mystery of the Invisible Thief Part-I

This episode starts with the C.I.A. sitting in their headquarters with Shrini, their friend (see Crossword Code Mystery), and Shinni is showing them the articles he has written about the C.I.A. He says that now the readers want to know how the C.I.A. was formed...how did it all begin and what was their first case. Everyone starts talking at once and Shrini says,"One at a time," so Suchi narrates the tale. She says,"Yeh sab shuru hua tha Ishaan, Nikki aur ek kiddie party se....."
We see Nikki drawing a tiger, sitting in the school cafeteria, when suddenly there is a roar at feet. She jumps up and spots a red toy car zooming away. "Ishaan!!" she exclaims and chases the car. The car suddenly bangsagainst a table and juice spills on it. Nikki giggles when she sees Ishaan jumping up from behind a table and rushing to the table. Ishaan picks up the car and fervently starts cleaning it. Nikki:"Very good. School mein toys le aane se Mummy ne tumhe mana kiya tha na!" Ishaan:"Ye toy nahi hai Nikki..." and proceeds to show her the dictaphone tied on top of the car. He explains that the car can be used to record stuff when they are far from the actual spot. Nikki:"Wow! Yeh hum Bantoo ko gift kar sakte hain na??" Ishaan says he is not gonna waste such a great gizmo on a kiddie party. Nikki tells him not to be rude and that he is also supposed to go to the party. Ishaan says he's not gonna go no matter what his mom says. The scene changes and we see a frusturated Ishaan sitting at the back of a car and a very happy Nikki and his mom are in the front seats....they are going to the party. When they arrive there, however, they see police cars outside the place....they come to know here has been a theft at the place. Bantoo's (he's the birthday boy) mom says she was laying the table for the party when she heard a crash and coughing upstairs. She went up with Bantoo and saw that the money and jewellery were missing. However, there was no one in the room....only huge footprints....but all the windows were locked from inside and the room had only one door. No one could tell how the thief entered or exited. Nikki:"Wow, iska matlab invisible thief?!!" Ishaan and Nikki go outside. They see a pipe leading to the balcony of the room where the theft took place. Ishaan spots huge footprints on the ground....about size 12 boots. He takes a pic on his cell and then measures it with a 100-rupee note. The print is twice the note. Ishaan also finds a notepad with an impression on it. The impression is of the writing on the previous page. Suddenly D.L.K. comes there. He has just been transferred to Cambala. (remember, this is the case which tells how the C.I.A. formed, so it took place BEFORE all others) D.L.K. is very pleased to have a case in his new post so soon but is very irritated to see children 'messing about' the crime scene. He scolds them....they stand up....and suddenly he spots the notepad in Ishaan's hand and asks him to hand it over. Ishaan distracts him by saying there is sumone on he terrace and while D.L.K. is looking away, he quickly tears off the top page. He hands the rest of the pad to D.L.K. and says he only saw a crow on the terrace.
Back in the school cafeteria, Ishaan is checking out the paper with a magnifying glass with some sort of blue light attached. Nikki comes from her karate classes and sits opposite of him. Ishaan shades the page with a pencil so the writing shows up. The writing says 'गोल चक्की' (Gol Chakki). Nikki:"Yeh Gol Chakki kya hai??" Ishaan:"Kisi jagah ka naam hoga. Iske baare mein toh usse poochh na parega jo Cambala ki har cheez janta hai. Guess kaun?" Nikki:"Aapka classmate, Farhan?" Next we see Farhan riding his bike along a lane. A car comes and stops by him. A man opens the window and asks: (.... is for the parts I forgot)
Man: Beta, Hariwali .... kahaan hai?
Farhan: Kahaan jana hai aapko.....Sodi Farm ya Gupta Bungalows?
Man: Tumhe kaise pata?? Gupta Bungalows mein.
Farhan: Advocate Gupta se milna hai ya unke bete Dr. Gupta se?
Man: Dr. Gupta se.
Farhan: To aap ek kaam kijiye....yahan se seedhe chale jaiye, first right turn chhorke second right turn lijiye. Wahaan pe Veer Sigh gwale (milkman) ke do bakriyan aur chaar gaiyaan (4cows) char rahe honge. Go past them, right? Uske baad aapke left-hand pe Cambala Chemicals ka ek green sign aayega. Jiske thik dahine mein ek bargat ka per hoga. Per ke aage se right lijiye aur .... chale jaiye. Aapke left-hand pe phir ek royal blue colour ka khatara Fiat khara hoga, jiske chaaron tyres puncture aur....
Man: (angrily) Tumhe kya main hi mila mazaak karne ke liye?? (drives off)
Farhan: (calls after the car) Arrey, main to aapko pata bata raha tha....suniye....
The car drives off. Farhan is a bit confused. Enter Rohit. Rohit drives his bike at top speed past Farhan and crosses a puddle on the way. Muddy water from the puddle splashes onto Farhan's bike. Farhan: (shouts after Rohit angrily)"Oye Rohit ke bachche!!" Rohit just glances back and smiles a naughty sort of smile and speeds away. Next we see Ishaan on his bike. Rohit crosses him...at full speed, again....Ishaan:"Oye Rohit, Rohit ruk!!" but in vain....Rohit has disappeared (wow, Rohit is great on his bike!). After this we return to Farhan....Farhan had picked up a caterpillar on a stick and was watching it move when Ishaan cycles up. He asks Farhan where Gol Chakki is and Farhan says that the old name of Acme Glass Factory used to be GolChakki. He starts explaining the history of how there used to be a chakki like the ones used to crush grins in the 1950s when Ishaan interrupts and asks if he knows the way. Farhan again starts on the bakriyan and gayian (same road as the man in the car asked) and Ishaan asks if Farhan can go with him. Farhan agrees. They bike to Gol Chakki. They see the iron gates are closed and there is barbed wire on top of the gates. Ishaan borrows Farhan's jacket and they climb the gates. Ishaan puts the jacket as a cushion on top of the wire and they jump down on the other side. They see footprints o the ground. Ishaan measures them....they are the same as the thief's! Then Farhan spots a signboard on the ground he picks it up...it says 'BEWARE OF DOG!' Then they see the dog running towards them. It growls at them. Farhan picks up a piece of wood. and throws it a little way away and the dog runs to fetch it. Ishaan and Farhan quickly scramble up the gate when someone catches hold of Ishaan's shirt. They turn and see a tall security guard. Ishaan notices he has big shoes on his feet. The guard yells at them, asking what they are doing. Farhan quickly makes an excuse that they had come looking for their cricket ball. The guard asks them to show him the ball. Farhan:"Arre aap dhoondne denge tabhi milega na." Guard says they won't get the ball. coz it's private property and pushes them out. Ishaan thanks Farhan. They re-visit Bantoo's house. They ask Bantoo's mom (she was in the room where the theft took place) if police found anyhting new. She says they found a handprint. She pulls back the covers of the bed (in the room where theft took place) and shows them an enormous handprint. Ishaan says with such big hands and feet, the thief mut be a big man. They leave.
While leaving they find D.L.K. panting, pushing his bike along. Farhan asks Ishaan who it is. Ishaan says D.L. Kulkarni, new inspector. Farhan says D.L. should stand for Dum Lagake! Both laugh. D.L.K. is irritated to see them again. Ishaan suddenly has an idea. He butters D.L.K. up and while telling him how great he is, he places a walkie talkie on his belt. D.L.K. doesn't notice, he goes into the house to interrogate Bantoo's mom. Ishaan and Farhan go a little way away and listen to what D.L.K. is saying on the other piece of the walkie talkie. They hear D.L.K. asking some stupid questions and Bantoo's mom getting irritated. Then D.L.K. gets a call, reporting another theft. Bantoo's mom asks where the theft took place. D.L.K. says at Colonel Duggar's house. Farhan tells Ishaan that Colonel Duggar's place is the house of his friend, Sucheta. They go to her place. Before they can enter the house, they see a man dressed top to toe in black, climbing over the garden wall. They follow him outside. The man leaves on a motorbike, but leaves a trail on the dusty road. Ishaan and Farhan follow the trail. They come to a turning...the path after the turn couldn't be seen.....Farhan turns and goes behind the thing (I don't remember exactly what was blocking the other side) and there is a sound of a huge crash. Ishaan (he hadn't turned yet) cries,"FARHAN!!!!"
